Teaching and working with students
My teaching brings together computing, research skills, academic integrity and the student experience.
Current teaching
I teach Imperial’s Researching Academic Integrity in an Artificial Intelligence Driven World module. Students develop research skills while investigating questions such as why students cheat, how institutions respond to generative AI and how AI can support the research process.
I also lead computing project modules in which students plan, conduct and communicate substantial independent work.
Students as research partners
I have worked with Imperial StudentShapers partners on academic-integrity research and teaching resources. This approach gives students an active role in framing questions, analysing evidence and communicating findings.
Student support
As Senior Tutor for postgraduate taught students and Departmental Disability Officer in Computing, I work with colleagues and specialist services to support students’ academic progress and wellbeing.
