I delivered the opening keynote as part of a wide range of talks addressing the contract cheating problem.<\/p>\n<p>During my presentation<strong> I considered the reasons why students cheat<\/strong>, including examples from <a href=\"http:\/\/plagiarism.cz\/seeppai\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">my previous research in South East Europe<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/pii\/S0360131519300235?via%3Dihub\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">my recent paper examining why students say they cheat on Twitter<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The slides I used are available <a href=\"http:\/\/www.slideshare.net\/ThomasLancaster\">on my SlideShare account<\/a>.
