Although it is not mentioned among your five main points, and I do not know if you have discussed this before, I would like to add that partnerships with colleagues would also be beneficial. I believe all teachers are fair, but sometimes they fail at encouraging or enforcing academic integrity due to their lack of awareness or to avoid the time-consuming paperwork that filing a report might take.

Although I have used some of the strategies you mentioned and that more teachers within my community are getting involved and taking responsibility to enforce academic honesty and integrity, we need to make this a permanent process with each group of students we have. When there are clear protocols, aligned practices, support among colleagues, teachers can be more successful in this area. Therefore, besides professional development opportunities in this area, promoting conversations among colleagues about our best practices can help others craft their own methods to encourage and enforce academic integrity.
