I have been playing around with Chat GPT a bit lately and find it quite scary. Most often, there are very substantial errors in the factual content that usually make intuitive sense and are easy to overlook if not a subject expert. One concern is that this enables the amplification and dissemination of errors. In relation to assessment, the old system of viva voce exams might also be considered, although the challenges associated with bias elimination in assessment are not trivial.
